It’s Official!  Save the Dates!  55th Reunion September 24-27, 2026

The Reunion Committee has agreed to schedule our 55th Reunion in conjunction with Homecoming, with events Thursday through Sunday, September 24-27, 2026. 

Here’s the plan: Our 55th Reunion Weekend will use the same format as our 40th, 45th, and 50th Reunions with organized Thursday afternoon events such as golf, winetasting, and the Blackhawk Museum; an informal Thursday dinner gathering at a Danville restaurant; Friday events at SRVHS including a tour of the newly rebuilt campus, participation in the pep rally and Homecoming Parade, a pre-game dinner at a Danville restaurant, reserved seating at the Homecoming Game, and evening post-game celebration; the main reunion event will be a catered class picnic 12-6 PM on Saturday; a post-party celebration will continue Saturday evening at a Danville night spot; and a farewell lunch will be held at noon on Sunday in a Danville area restaurant.

What’s next?  Here is the tentative planning timeline:

March: The Reunion Committee will fill in the details: make reservations, develop contracts, obtain block hotel rates, determine event costs, and set event prices.

June 1st: Begin reunion reservations at a discounted price for ’71 classmates and neighbor classes (’70, ’72 & '73).

August 1st: Reservations continue, but at the full price (higher than the early bird price).

September 15th: Reservations and cancellations for a refund end (final count required for the caterer).
